My favorite - The Temptation Roll

Most kids only want chicken nuggets, french fries, peanut butter and jelly, corny dogs, etc., but I am happy to say Hunter and even Dylan, as picky as she can be, like trying all sorts of stuff. After Meet the Teacher they wanted to have a little sushi. So we did.

Hunter will eat it all. Dylan sticks with the potstickers and cucumbers.

Meet the Teacher

It's a Bluebonnet tradition to meet the teacher the night before school starts and in true spirit we were there.

Hunter, starting 5th grade, will be the oldest class on campus. He has Ms. Kessel this year and is very excited. He will have lots of friends, including Michael, in his class and will still have fun hanging out with other friends at lunch and recess.

Dylan, a little nervous and anxious, saw some of her Kindergarten friends and was excited to have a couple in her class this year. Her teacher is Ms. Hilsebeck and we are hoping for an exciting year. We hear she is a very creative teacher and loves to do things a little differently. Perfect for Dylan. We went through all her supplies and she is ready to start 1st grade on Monday. Believe it or not, she can't wait to get there on Monday.

Summer Fun

July 4th is a favorite for us and we usually spend it in Lorena so we can shoot our own fireworks. Here are a couple from this years explosion.

Kindergarten Graduation

All dressed up and ready to go. Easiest morning for school all year.

Dylan did it! Friday was the Kindergarten Graduation ceremony at school. The K classes started with a little program singing about bugs and then each one walked across the stage to get their diplomas. It was very cute! We are very proud of Dylan. She gets very nervous in these situations, but she held it together.

The Pool is Open

The pool is officially warm enough for all of us. We enjoyed Memorial Day weekend (the sunny part) poolside. Nothin' better.
