Party Time!

This year Dylan decided on a cooking theme for her party. We celebrated with six of her girlfriends at the Great Harvest Bread Co. The girls started with a craft - decorated spatula's and wooden spoons with stickers and a little "bling".

The girls then got cookin'. With a little instruction from Baker Shelley and team, they made Stromboli, Cinnamini's and decorated sugar cookies.

Just like Nana taught her.

And the best part...

A little singing, cake and presents.

Six, but who's counting?

Dylan celebrated her 6th birthday with an early dismissal at school, cake, presents and dinner at PF Changs (her favorite place for chop sticks).

Every year, Dylan gets pink flowers on her birthday. She loves this tradition. What a girly girl.
This year Dylan wanted Night Vision Goggles, Nerf Gun with glow in the dark bullets and Spy Gear so she and Hunter could play spies. She also asked for rubber gloves and Mighty Putty. (Crazy Girl.)
Dinner went a little late, luckily we had a BIG booth and the next day off from school.

Merry Christmas from our House to Yours.

Pickles First Christmas.

Santa even brought Pickles a few goodies this year. Her favorite Christmas cookies and treats, some braided raw hide and a stuffed reindeer (which she already chewed off an ear and antler).

The Christmas Elf cooks up Christmas goodies.

As you all know, Dylan loves to cook and Christmas is the perfect time to be in the kitchen. Dylan made a few things before she tired out, or ate too much dough. She whipped up a funfetti cake, mini cheesecakes and snowball cookies all before our big Christmas Eve dinner. Dinner was yummy too- rosemary beef tenderloin, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus.
